Local residents can have a bigger say in improving the area they live in - by going to one of four events taking place over the next two weeks.
The meetings have been organised to give people living in Castlehaven, Gospel Oak, Maitland Park and South End Green greater influence on local issues.
They are the first meetings of the newly formed GO Local Action Groups set up by the GO Partnership. The groups will provide a forum where local people can discuss local issues, have their say on what they think could be done better and get more involved in their neighbourhoods by volunteering.
Any issues raised will be passed to the appropriate organisation, such as the police or Camden Council, for action. Each group will meet up to four times a year.
The GO Partnership is one of ten council supported neighbourhood partnerships in the borough. They are community led organisations, set up to address local issues and attract external funding. They are run by local residents and organisations and give local people an opportunity to improve where they live.
Where and when are the meetings?
Dates of the first GO Local Action Groups meetings:
Maitland Park: Tuesday 17 April, 7pm, Maitland Park TA Hall
South End Green: Thursday 19 April, 7pm, Fleet Community Centre
